Our team played the best they could and came up short last night against the Hilltoppers. We lost on the final play and I accept full responsibility for our 21-17 defeat.

What I’m not going to do now that we are 1-4 is apologize or make excuses. We’ve got a full season left and our goal remains to be a bowl eligible team in our first year. We are going to play like a champion every single day. We are going to hit harder, get off the line faster, and be smarter.

CBF 2026 is a great experience and might be a great game. Unfortunately, I didn’t start with my old 2026 playbook or an intact dynasty. I didn’t pick Temple because I just don’t think that I’ve got enough time in the game and needed to shake off the rust. I picked The Blue Hens because it was a near match “start-up” program.
